Aina looked over at him when he didn't say anything. She saw the same familiar lonely look in his own eyes. Maybe they were more alike than she first realized. Aina led them upstairs to the bathroom. She little cub had a fever. She ran into the bathroom and started a cool bath to help bring her fever down. "I'm fine, I promise. I want to help her." Aina held out her hands signaling Yusuke to give Rin to her so she could take care of her.
"Healing flesh wounds is a lot less taxing on my body. Her fever will come down. She is in shock right now because of blood loss." Aina took the cub and placed her gently in the cool water. She searched her body for wounds and took the time to heal all of them. aina was tired, but not as exhausted as she usually gets when she heals people. Aina took the cub in her arms, and placed her on a clean blanket on top of her comforter and then covered her with another blanket to keep her warm. She took a seat on the bed looking down at the floor trying to decide what to do.
It would be hard to leave her home, but Yusuke had a good point. She was in danger, and now Yusuke and his family were in danger and it was all her fault. She would never forgive herself if anything happened to Yusuke or anyone of his family members. What was she going to do with her house? She wanted someone to at least take good care of it. But then again, if someone lived here then the Daemons would probably kill them and ask where she had gone. It would be best just to leave, and never come back.
It was probably for the best. This would be a good way to let go of her past and just have a fresh start.

"Ok. . .I will stay with you. We need to do something with the house though. Like burn it down."

Yusuke shook his head, "No. we won't burn it... We'll just lead them away... I'll state something like I'm going on a vacation to take a break or something. They'll come after us thinking were gone, but then we'll just be in a small hiding for a little bit. At least till things settle. We'll keep it, but we'll have to pack some stuff to make it seem like you're only going to be away for a little bit."

He gently pushed back Rin's bangs as he looked at her auburn coat. He felt sorry that his family got dragged into this mess... but at the same time. They would do anything for him if he was in trouble.

"Okay, I guess that will work. Will we leave tonight. . .wait a minute. . ." Aina slightly overlooked something Yusuke had said. She was so preoccupied with the living situation that she barely even heard what he said.
"Y-you are developing feelings for me. . .but why? What is so special about me?"

Aina looked away very embarrassed and a little bit scared. Her ex said those same words to her one time before, and look how things ended. She had her heart broken and she didn't know what it felt like to really be in love and how wonderful it is to actually love someone. She thought that she loved him, but then she realized how wrong she was.
